LONDON & PORTUGAL + travel: Trained, **Spanish MT**, Rota Nanny (2 week rotation) - ASAP autumn start
Confident driver and the ability to work legally in both the UK & EU are crucial (eg: EU passport with UK Settled Status)

• Position: Rota Nanny **formally trained** (2 week on/off rotation, accommodation provided when on duty)
• Children: 2 boys; 4.5 & 2.5 years (b. Feb 2021 & May 2023).
• Start date: ASAP autumn start
• Location: based between central London & Portugal + travel
• Requirements: Candidate be able to work legally in both London & Portugal (eg: an EU passport with UK Settled Status) and a fluent Spanish speaker is highly desirable.
• Salary: 50K gpa

Our clients are looking for a professional, organised, flexible, relaxed, kind and caring Spanish-speaking, Rota Nanny for two little boys (b. Feb 2021 & May 2023). Based between London & Portugal, the absolute key thing is the family's new nanny needs to be able to work legally in both the UK and Portugal, therefore needs to have an EU passport with UK Settled Status/Right to Work. And our client's preference is for a fluent Spanish-speaker.
~ The Rota Nanny would work on a 2 week rotation with the other nanny, with core working hours being: 08.30 - 18.30 with flexibility for babysitting. Accommodation is available in both locations and in London the accommodation provided is offsite (Victoria).
The role is a mixture of sole charge and shared care and the new Rota Nanny should be happy to work alongside the parents but also be happy and capable of taking sole charge so that the parents can trust and rely on them when they need to work. Applicants are expected to have a good understanding and proven experience of working with children of a similar age. The children are happy, healthy and in a good routine. They enjoy being outside, going to playdates, going to the park and to classes. They are both very focused and independent. They love exploring and being allowed to be free to move! The eldest boy is at school. All standard nursery duties are required incl. the children's laundry (washing, ironing etc), planning and preparing healthy nutritious meals for the children and ensuring that children's areas areas are tidy and well-organised.
The new Rota Nanny would need to act on their own initiative and be highly organised with excellent communication skills as they would need to work closely with the family and the other rota nanny to provide the best level of care for the little boys. They should create a fun and stimulating environment to support the little boys as they develop and thrive. The successful candidate needs to have a good understanding of the role that a nanny plays, with the ability to be discreet, respectful of the family home and to maintain professional boundaries.
Miscellaneous:

• Travel: the family divides their time between London & Portugal (predominantly in London with summers and school holidays in Portugal) and they enjoy family holidays and travelling and the nanny would be required to travel with them.
• Driving: a confident London & EU driver is essential.
• Pets: there are no pets.
• Working alongside the family's long-standing nanny who has been there since January 2023.
• Nanny will be required to sign an NDA.
