We are actively recruiting for full-time, experienced Night Trunk Driver Class 1 , Using Company Vehicles and Fuel. Vehicle is a double deck trailer.
The role is Monday - Friday,.
The role will consist of the following tasks:
Between 1- 10 deliveries & collections per day, usually within a 50-mile radius of Hertfordshire, on occasion we can take on some jobs a bit further afield. Keep within networks KPI's and rules. Electronically complete POD's and paperwork, all done on one device which also has sat nav to assist with delivery sites. The working day is generally between 19.00 - 6.00am or until finish. This could vary depending on business needs. Drive is from St Albans to Birmingham load is tipped, then park up waiting to be reloaded for return journey,
Candidates will need
Class 1 qualifying licence required. No more than 6 penalty points. No DD, DG, TT, DR, CD or IN endorsements. Full CPC hours and driver tacho cards. To understand all legislative requirements including; Tacho infringements, although this can be trained. A level of customer service, upbeat and positive attitude. Good level of spoken and written English. Previous employer references to prove previous non-fault accident history.
