4,600 patients

, and we're looking for a

dedicated GP

to join our supportive team on a

long-term locum basis

(with the option of a

salaried position

for the right candidate).

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions. As a General Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in promoting health and wellbeing within the community while ensuring high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to diagnose medical conditions. Develop and implement personalised treatment plans based on clinical findings. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Provide guidance on public health issues, preventive measures, and lifestyle modifications. Offer support for patients in nursing homes, hospice care, and senior care settings as needed.

Experience

A valid medical degree with full registration with the relevant medical authority GMC. Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting; Strong knowledge of anatomy and clinical research methodologies. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and public health practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on medical advancements.
