We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Loop Installation Operative working on various contracts across the country providing Traffic management loop repair, diagnostic fault finding and replacement with hot bitumen infill, including magnetometer installation and micro-trenching.

You will have experience in the Highway Industry and ideally be sector scheme registered.

The Role



Ensure Highways England's Imperatives 'Safety, Customer and Delivery' are met

Champion Safety, Health and Environment and promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, best practice, and Continuous Improvement

Diesel, petrol and electric floor sawing

Micro/mini digger operations

Diamond Drilling

Hot and cold tarmac and hot bitumen works

Hand-held, and driven road breakers/plant

Compaction plates and vibrating roller operation

Manual digging/excavation using insulated hand tools

Installation of temporary sector 8 barriers, traffic and pedestrian segregation/management

Ensuring Quality of works are maintained and smooth handover is achieved

Reporting to Contract Manager

Support internal and client auditors to continually improve the framework processes

Working with the business enablers [H&S Professionals, Continuous Improvement Manager, Central Services]

Candidate Requirements



SSSTS [Desirable]

Full Clear Driving License [HGV Desirable]

5 years' experience

ECS Card [Required]

Street Works yellow card for all operatives (Excavation & Reinstatement)

Good knowledge of Highway Technology and Traffic Signals detection

Good communicator

Adaptability to deliver multiple activities

Undertake safety critical medical [Pre Employment]

DBS check
