Job Description

Tolleshunt Turf Farms are growers and suppliers of quality lawn turf providing Essex, Suffolk and surrounding areas with regular deliveries of turf, topsoil and bark.

We are recruiting experienced lorry drivers to assist with these deliveries. Our drivers will be carrying out multi drop deliveries.

We are looking for someone with a good work ethic and good communication skills who will be able to converse with our customers in a professional manner.

Local knowledge is an advantage.

The ideal candidate will:

Have HGV Class 2 license

Have up to date CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)

Up to date Hiab certificate preferred - training can be given

Be motivated, enthusiastic and reliable

Be able to carry out daily vehicle checks and fill out paperwork competently

Need to be able to carry out physical work which will involve some heavy lifting

Rough terrain Forklift Certificate an advantage but training will be given.

Please note outside of the deliveries some other general farm duties including workshop, yard and farm will also be expected.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking person to provide cover during holidays/sickness/busy periods
