Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Low Brass Teacher to join our vibrant Music Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and nurture the next generation of brass players.


You will provide high-quality one-to-one instrumental lessons across the 13-18 age range as well as assisting with ensembles if and when appropriate. The position is casual, with flexible hours based on student enrolment and school scheduling. The successful candidate will inspire and motivate students through engaging and effective teaching.

The Role:



Teaching low brass instruments across a range of abilities across the 13-18 age range. Preparing students for performances, exams, and ensembles. Encouraging a love of music and helping students develop their technical and musical skills. Working collaboratively with colleagues in the Music Department.

We're Looking For:



A passionate and dedicated musician with strong low brass expertise. Experience teaching children and young people, either individually or in groups. Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate learners of all abilities. A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.

The post will become available in January 2026 initially on a casual basis until the end of the 2025/2026 academic year.
