Overview

We are seeking a skilled Low Loader Driver to join our team. A strong background in the Construction Industry and heavy equipment operation is essential. The ideal candidate would be flexible on which vehicles they drive from beaver tail, hiab, roll on/off, low loader and tipper as required. This role involves transporting materials and equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety regulations while maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Operate low loader vehicles to transport heavy equipment and materials to designated locations. Load and unload plant and or materials. Ensure proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transit. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of shipments, including shipping and receiving documentation. Collaborate with plant yard and site regarding deliveries and collections. Participate in training programs related to heavy equipment operation and safety protocols.

Skills

Proven experience in Construction environment. Any CPCS or NPORS training would be beneficial. Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation. Experience operating cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle materials safely. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
