Hillhouse Group is a family-owned business operating throughout Scotland. The company is a major supplier of aggregates, asphalt, readymix concrete, concrete products, road surfacing and civil engineering services to the construction industry and civil engineering sectors.

Due to continued growth, Hillhouse Group are currently recruiting a Class 1 Driver with experience of loading and unloading various types of road surfacing plant, based from our depot in Paisley.

The successful applicant will join our team at Hillhouse Group. Duties within this role will include but not be exclusive to: Loading of plant and equipment. Safely securing loads for transport to minimise damage in transit. Offloading of equipment safely at sites. You are responsible to ensure the truck is cleaned regularly. Comply with WTD and EU driving rules to ensure full compliance is achieved. All applicants should be able to work safely on their own initiative and have experience driving plant and machinery.

Due to the nature of the work the role requires flexibility in hours to suit the workload - including early starts, backshift, possible nightshift work and weekend work.

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) license Valid Driver CPC Valid Digital Tachograph Experience of loading/unloading various plant (Pavers, Planers, Rollers etc). Loader Securer Certificate would be beneficial EU Drivers' Hours Rules Knowledge
Salary: Competitive with opportunities for overtime.
