Summary

We are seeking a dedicated LSA to join our team at 's Sixth Form College in Southampton. This role is crucial in supporting our students' educational journeys, particularly those with special needs, ensuring they receive the highest quality of education and care.

Responsibilities

Support students with special educational needs in their learning and development. Assist teachers in delivering high-quality lessons tailored to individual student needs. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and external professionals to enhance student support. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators and parents. Participate in training sessions to improve skills related to special education. Help students develop social skills and independence within the classroom setting.

Qualifications

Experience working in special education or a related field. Strong understanding of teaching strategies for children with disabilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Experience working with children or young adults, particularly those with autism or other special needs is preferred. Relevant qualifications in education or child development are advantageous.
