Nestled in a beautifully converted oast house in a semi-rural setting, Juniors Day Nursery offers a nurturing, curiosity-led environment where children aged 3 months to 5 years flourish. Our unique curriculum, "Where Children Shine", places each child at the heart of everything we do.

Your Role

As our Lunch Cover Assistant, you'll be a vital part of our children's daily routines, helping to:


Support children during mealtimes, ensuring dietary needs and allergies are carefully managed Assist with sleep times and learning activities Maintain a safe, supportive and enriching environment Work closely with the staff team to ensure consistency and care throughout the day Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures with confidence and care

Every day may look a little different, but your positive, honest and nurturing approach will help keep things running smoothly.

What We're Looking For

Someone who can work over our busy lunch time period (11-2) 15 hours per week, all year round Experience in a nursery or early years setting is ideal A relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or above) is a bonus, but not essential A "can do" attitude and strong initiative Ability to work confidently within a team and prioritise tasks effectively A genuine passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing Commitment to our SHINE values: Support, Honesty, Inspiration, Nurturing, Empowerment
