Part Time 10 hours per week - Term Time Only
10.30 am - 12.30pm
There may be other opportunities for additional hours to cover staff absence at long/short notice (where possible for the successful candidate to do so).
West Town Pre-school is looking to appoint a Lunch Cover Early Years Assistant
(QUALIFICATIONS - NVQ level 2, or equivalent Early Years Childcare would be a real bonus but not essential or previous experience in a childcare setting is a plus)
To start October 2025
Our pre-school caters for children ages 2+
We are a very unique setting with a high number of EAL
children. Our setting is very community and
family orientated and is a stimulating and rewarding place within
which to work. We are based in West Town Primary Academy, West Town.
We are looking for a Lunch Cover Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly
team. Duties include: supervising and supporting children within our setting. Supervise lunch time and ensure that children have a safe, enjoyable, and nutritious lunch experience. Promote good eating habits and assist children with feeding as needed. Keep the dining area clean and organise, following hygiene and safety standards. Help children to transition smoothly to their activities after the mealtime.
The salary for this position is in accordance with a childcare
qualifications-based pay scale and will reflect the candidate's level
