Nursery Lunch Cover - Level 3

Salary: 14,268.80 per annum

The Clapham Day Nursery & Preschool offers a warm, home from home enviornment where every child's journey begins with curiosity and confidence. Rated Good by Ofsted, our three storey nursery features large, light filled room and a dedicated garden area that encourages outdoor learning, exploration and play. We are currently seeking a Nursery Lunch Cover to join our team. This full-time role offers 20 hours per week, with a shift pattern of 11am - 3pm Please note that this is a full-year position, as the nursery operates year-round, and is not term-time only.

As an Lunch Cover, you will:

Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times. Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff: child ratios. Ensure children are supervised and attended to at all times, maintaining appropriate staff: child ratios. Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development.

Essential Criteria - Qualifications/Experience:

Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification

- Desirable

Over 1 years' experience working in Early Years

- Desirable

Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating

- Desirable

Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements

- Desirable

Fluent in written and spoken to English

- Essential
