Nursery Lunch Time Cover

Location:

Hours:

15 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 11:00am - 3:00pm)

This is not a term-time only role.

We're looking for a Nursery Lunch Time Assistant to join our friendly team and support children's daily routines across the lunch period. At Footsteps, we focus on child-led learning, encouraging curiosity, confidence and exploration in our inspiring open-air environment.

Your Responsibilities:

Support children during lunch, helping with routines and transitions.



Provide a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that meets EYFS standards.



Promote good hygiene and cleanliness throughout the nursery.



Maintain professional relationships with staff and families.



Communicate any concerns in line with company policies and safeguarding procedures.



Carry out additional duties to ensure the smooth operation of the setting.

What We're Looking For:

Confident English communication skills - essential.



Previous experience in Early Years and a food hygiene qualification - desirable.



Understanding of the EYFS statutory framework - desirable.



A positive, flexible attitude and a genuine love for working with children.
