First Friends is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic

Lunchtime Nursery Assistant

to join our warm and welcoming team.

About the Role:

You'll help ensure our children have a safe, happy, and calm lunchtime experience. Your duties will include:

Supporting children during lunch - encouraging independence and good table manners Helping to set up and tidy away lunch areas Assisting with toileting and handwashing routines Supervising indoor and outdoor play before and after lunch Providing a nurturing and positive environment for all children

About You:

We're looking for someone who is:

Warm, patient, and enjoys working with young children (aged 0-5) Reliable and a good team player Able to follow health, safety, and safeguarding procedures Ideally has experience working in a nursery or childcare setting (but training can be provided)

Qualifications:

Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Childcare is desirable, but not essential. All successful applicants will need to complete an enhanced DBS check.
