Job Description

We are currently looking for someone to help with midday meal supervision and general housekeeping duties at The Granary Day Nursery.

This is a very varied role during which your duties will include:-

Setting up the dining room and cleaning the dining room between sittings and following the mealtime.

Helping to supervise the children whilst they eat their lunch.

General housekeeping, e.g. Laundry, changing beds/cots and cleaning within the nursery environment.

Carrying out food prep and cooking activities with small groups of children.

Applicants should be fun and bubbly by nature with a passion for nursery rhymes, exploring and helping children to grow.

The hours are from 11.30am until 2.30pm Monday-Friday

A thorough induction process is in place so please be assured full training will be given.

We are committed to safer recruitment so all candidates must have a clear DBS (cost to be met by candidate). In addition, two satisfactory references will need to be provided prior to the commencement of this position.

Please note the nursery is in a remote location, that is not on a bus route, so applicants will need their own transport to travel to the workplace.
