We are a pre school setting based in the Catholic school, Blessed William Davies.
We care for children aged 2-4 years. Our aim is to help them along with their first steps in independence with lots of fun, play and creativity.
We are open Monday- Friday, Term time only. Depending On demand, we do provide a holiday club during one week of Easter and the first two weeks of the summer holidays.
Job description
An NVQ Level 3 in children's care, learning and development is desirable but not essential. Previous experience working with pre school aged children is desirable.
The lunchtime assistant's role includes:
Supervision of children whilst they eat their lunch, including helping to open packaging and cutting up food. Cleaning up spillages, cleaning tables and chairs, plus brushing the floor. Encouraging good table manners. Encourage the children in suitable play activities after they have eaten. Safeguarding all children in our care. Supervising children using toilet facilities and caring for their personal cleanliness.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Expected hours: 10 per week
