We are currently seeking a

Level 3 Qualified Practitioner

to join our dedicated team as a

Lunchtime Cover Assistant

. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and caring individual who enjoys working with children in a supportive and friendly environment.

Role Overview:

As a Lunchtime Cover Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children during their lunch period and assisting with lunch cover across the setting. This includes helping with meal times, supervising and engaging with children during play, and ensuring their safety and wellbeing throughout the lunchtime period.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the preparation and serving of lunches Supervise children during meal and play times Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment Provide cover for staff breaks as needed Assist with basic cleaning and tidying up post-lunch Build strong, positive relationships with children and staff

What We're Looking For:

A minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (or equivalent) Previous experience working in a childcare or early years setting A caring, reliable, and proactive attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills An understanding of safeguarding and health & safety practices

This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months
