We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Lunchtime Organiser to join our fantastic team at Prospect House Primary Specialist School



This is a part time, permanent post working 13 hours per week, during term time only. The starting salary is 7,718 and the full time equivalent is 24,796 Grade 2.

Lunchtime Organiser

to join our dedicated team at Prospect House Primary Specialist School in Higher Blackley, part of Prospere Learning Trust. Prospect House is a vibrant, purpose-built special primary school supporting children aged 311 with significant learning needs and additional complexities. We offer a warm and welcoming environment with state of the art facilities.

About the role:



As a Lunchtime Organiser, you will support our pupils over the lunchtime period to ensure they are safe, engaged and enjoying a positive break in their day. This involves:

Supporting healthy eating and food choices and ensuring clean and safe environment Supervising pupils in the dining hall and playground Assisting with feeding, toileting, and changing where required (training provided) Support activities with groups of students during lunchtime clubs Creating a calm and positive environment that encourages social interaction and independence Working closely with teaching staff and senior lunchtime organisers Supporting with minor accidents comforting and reassuring pupils or delivering first aid where necessary.

Who we're looking for:



We welcome applicants with experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEND but it's not essential. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is:

Compassionate and patient and a strong team player Reliable and committed to supporting children's wellbeing Able to communicate clearly and follow instructions confidently Ability to develop good working relationships with staff, children and wider stakeholders Willing to undertake relevant training, including personal care and the safe use of specialist equipment To be aware of policies and procedures relating to child protection A first aid qualification is highly desirable

Prospect House Primary School




Prospect House is a new free special primary school in Higher Blackley, North Manchester. The school is the first school in the Trust to be open north of the city offering places for children with very significant learning needs and other associated additional needs, aged 3 11 years old. The brand new purpose built site offers specialist facilities including a state-of-the-art hydropool including changing room to pool hoisting, ASC friendly classrooms and corridors, Food Technology Room, Library, Immersive Learning Room, Sensory Regulation Room, Parent Room, Pets as Therapy Dogs (Alfie and Ovie) and two KuneKune Pigs (Sebastian and Dolores).
