Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, responsible, and dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team at East Harptree Nursery. As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the children's lunchtime experience is safe, enjoyable, and supportive of their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Safety:

Oversee children during lunchtime aged between 6 months and 5 years Assist with the set-up and clear up after lunches, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained. Prepare children's snacks and dish up lunches

Support During Mealtime:

Encourage and support children in developing independence with eating and drinking, offering assistance when needed. Help children with washing hands before and after meals, promoting hygiene and self-care. Support children with food preferences, allergies, and dietary needs, ensuring they are comfortable and able to eat.

Communication:

Report any incidents, accidents, or concerns to the Nursery Manager or relevant staff promptly. Work closely with other nursery staff to ensure smooth transitions before and after mealtimes, maintaining consistency in routines and expectations.

General Nursery Support:

Assist with other general nursery duties as required, including tidying the rooms, changing nappies and supporting the team during outdoor play. Participate in staff/team meetings and training sessions, Inset days and contributing to the nursery's overall goals and policies.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.24-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
