Lunchtime Supervisor/ Pupil Support Assistant (Part Time/ Term Time)

Barnsley, South Yorkshire

5596 per annum equates to 12.45 per hour

10 hours p/w term time ONLY 38 weeks per annum

THE ROLE

As Pupil Support Assistant you are to provide supervision for children during the mid-day break to ensure maintenance of good order, good behaviour, discipline and the safety and welfare of students.

Some duties will include:

Building relationships with pupils and staff Supporting children during mealtimes Understanding the needs of the pupils with SEN (Special Education Needs) Personal care Working in line with schools policies and procedures

THE CANDIDATE

Basic evidence of competence in English Interest in working in a special education school An understanding/ interest of working with children/ young people with SEN / SEND needs IDEALLY experience of supervising children/ younger people

SALARY/ HOURS

Starting salary for a PSA Pupil Support Assistant is 5596 actual annual salary equates to 12.45 per hour working 10 hours per week Mon-Fri term time only (38 weeks per year) + amazing benefits working for our Wellspring trust
