Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable Van Driver for long-distance deliveries. You will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while maintaining excellent communication with customers and the team. This role involves some heavy lifting and requires a professional, proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a van to complete deliveries on time. Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secure during transport. Communicate clearly with warehouse staff and customers about delivery times and any issues. Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs. Follow all traffic laws and company procedures. Support warehouse tasks when required, including stock handling and organisation.
Requirements
Valid driving licence with a clean record. Delivery or van driving experience preferred. Ability to lift and handle heavy items safely. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Understanding of driving regulations and safety procedures. Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
