Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations. Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to scheduled routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload items, which may involve heavy lifting and manual handling. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transit. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays. Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving to ensure safety on the road.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record is essential; experience driving larger vehicles or commercial driving is an advantage. Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial for efficient loading and unloading processes. Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with customers and team members effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during deliveries.
