The Role
We are seeking a proactive,
inspiring, and influential Mall Concession Manager
for our location in
Westfield Stratford
. This leader must bring passion, energy, and extensive retail experience, encouraging growth not only in sales but also in the development of their team, all while delivering excellence in every area of our business.
As the Mall Concession Manager, you will be the ultimate
Brand Ambassador
and the driving force behind the concession's success.
Principal Focuses:
Exceptional Customer Experience:
Ensuring every customer interaction is a memorable, luxury, and personalized journey that reflects the Karaama ethos.
Strategic Sales Growth:
Developing and executing commercial strategies to meet and exceed daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Operational Excellence:
Overseeing and supporting the complete day-to-day operation of the Concession, maintaining the highest standards of luxury presentation and efficiency.
Inspirational Leadership:
Inspiring, coaching, and developing a high-performing team with enthusiasm and a real flair for the luxury fragrance industry.
Brand Advocacy:
Embodying and instilling the passion for our beautiful Luxury Fragrance Brand and its heritage into every facet of the operation.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1. Leadership & Team Development
Lead by Example:
Serve as the driving force in delivering excellence in the customer experience, personally demonstrating expert sales techniques and a confident, engaging approach to 'traffic stopping'.
Team Empowerment:
Develop a highly effective and engaged team through structured coaching, training, empowering individuals to reach their full potential and foster a 'family' atmosphere.
Communication:
Hold informative, engaging, and motivational briefing sessions with the team and communicate effectively upwards with internal stakeholders and external clients.
Scheduling & HR:
Manage staff scheduling, attendance, performance management, and recruitment, ensuring optimal coverage and adherence to labor laws.
2. Commercial Acumen & Sales Performance
Strategic Planning:
Utilise strong strategic and analytical thinking to make commercial decisions, drive sales, and manage all key performance indicators (KPIs).
Target Achievement:
Take full ownership of the Concession's sales targets, implementing dynamic strategies to achieve and exceed all financial goals.
Local Market Insight:
Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to adapt commercial strategies and maximize opportunities.
P&L Awareness:
Understand the concession's performance in relation to budget and profitability, taking corrective action where necessary.
3. Operational & Visual Merchandising Excellence
Luxury Standards:
Implement and meticulously maintain the highest
Visual Merchandising standards
, ensuring the concession consistently reflects the luxury aesthetic of the Karaama brand.
Stock Management:
Maintain disciplined and meticulous control over all inventory, conducting regular stock management checks, audits, and ensuring accurate stock levels to support sales demand.
Compliance:
Oversee all administrative functions, including accurate processing of customer transactions, till system management, data reconciliation, and strict adherence to
Health & Safety
protocols.
Adaptability:
Embrace the fast pace of a luxury retail environment, thriving on challenges with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful Mall Concession Manager for Karaama will:
Possess significant proven experience in a managerial role within
luxury retail, fragrance, or beauty
