SP Electricity North West manages and invests in the power network that supplies electricity to the 2.4m homes and businesses across the North West. A Fantastic Opportunity: LV Dispatcher





As a Dispatcher you will coordinate live updates and repairs for the electricity distribution network, ensuring safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.





You will be responsibles for managing LV fault prioritization, dispatching resources, and maintaining accurate system updates. You will act as the central point of communication between field teams, customer service, and stakeholders to deliver timely information and regulatory reports.





As a Dispatcher you will have strong analytical skills, resource coordination, and flexibility to work across varied shift patterns.

What we're looking for





Have proven experience in fault location and repair; Have a sound knowledge of LV network operation and of the LV fault restoration process; Have a good understanding of the regulatory and contractual frameworks surrounding electricity supply and distribution including Electricity Guaranteed Standards (EGS) and the Quality of Supply Regulatory Instructions & Guidance (RIGS); Knowledge of Operational IT Systems including but not limited to: + WebTMS
+ NMS
+ NaFIRS
+ Geofield would be desirable
+ IT Skills in Windows Operating system is essential.
