Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help individuals improve their mental health and well-being.

About You:



We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive Lymphatic Drainage Therapist with a recognised certificate in MLD (Manual Lymphatic Drainage) and evidence of ongoing CPD. Must also have experience of working in a clinic environment and managing your own client base.

Lymphatic Drainage works wonderfully alongside, or separate to, our existing services and allows us to provide an even greater quality of care for our patients. Inter-referrals between therapists & surgeons will be common and will allow us to tailor our treatment plans perfectly!

Job Summary



The clinic is led by a consultant plastic surgeon and offers a range of surgical and non-surgical treatments. It also offers services along with a range of comprehensive aesthetic treatments.

Role responsibilities



Experience of Manual Lymphatic Massage techniques required Experience and knowledge of other massage therapies Knowledge of manual lymphatic drainage extremely desirable Knowledge of various surgical procedures including liposuction, tummy tuck Work effectively with plastic surgeons to provide comprehensive patient care tailored to each individual client Educate patients on the benefits of treatments and provide aftercare advise post-surgery Maintain accurate electronic treatment records Promote and cross-sell other treatments Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming treatment environment at all times Required Skills & Qualifications Essential to be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in massage therapies At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a clinic, spa or wellness setting Experience of MLD , Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sports Massage techniques required Knowledge or experience of manual lymphatic drainageextremely desirable Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential to provide effective therapeutic care Previous experience in a healthcare or wellness setting is strongly preferred but not essential Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills in order to effectively communicate with our clients

Working Hours



This role has flexibility to work between Monday to Saturday and the hours of 9-6pm - we are looking for one day or 2 half days initially but can increase as demand increases.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
