The Solution Architect works closely with the Digital and Application teams to design services and products that allow our front line services to deliver to the aspirations and needs of our residents. The role will initially focus on the M365 programme that Lewisham are currently undertaking. It also works closely alongside the Information Technology function that Lewisham shared with the London Boroughs of Brent and Southwark, and which holds operational responsibility for most many aspects of IT.

The role reports to the Head of Applications and sits within the Corporate Services Directorate.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a someone who create great outcomes from our digital and information technologies. Your initial focus will be on the M365 programme and the rollout that Lewisham are currently undertaking, working with Microsoft and other partners to ensure we are leveraging the maximum benefit from the M365 product suite for staff and residents and following best practice.

You will be a capable technologist, but you must be able to express your ideas to a non technical audience. You will understand existing and emerging technologies and help us navigate a path that transforms Lewisham into an agile organisation that understands and responds to resident needs. You will have experience designing and creating Architectural diagrams to support the implementation of new projects.

Location

The job is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Special conditions
  • Relevant Industry recognised architectural accreditation, e.g. ISEB, TOGAF is desirable.

Salary

\xc2\xa357,909 to \xc2\xa360,105 per annum (PO8)

N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
