As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a motivated M&A Analyst or Senior M&A Analyst to join our Corporate Development team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership on high-impact projects that directly shape the future of our business.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Market Research & Target Identification
Conduct industry research to identify and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities
Maintain a pipeline of prospective targets, tracking key developments and trends
Financial Analysis & Valuation
Build and maintain financial models
Perform detailed valuation, scenario, and sensitivity analyses
Prepare investment cases and recommendations for internal stakeholders
Due Diligence & Transaction Support
Support all phases of the deal lifecycle, from initial evaluation to post-deal integration
Assist in coordinating due diligence across finance, legal and other functions
Analyse key risks and opportunities, providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making
Presentation & Stakeholder Engagement
Prepare presentations, memos, and reports for executive leadership and board-level discussions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on acquisition strategies and execution
Post-Deal Integration Support
Assist with financial and operational integration planning
Monitor post-acquisition performance against business case expectations
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL SET REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE:
Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (Masters/MBA a plus)
Demonstrable experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate development, or similar role
Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative abilities
High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex analyses into clear recommendations
