practice is seeking an

M&A Senior Associate

to join its London office.

This team advises financial sponsors and their portfolio companies throughout the entire investment cycle -- from

buyouts and bolt-ons

to

management incentivisation, refinancings, restructurings, and exits

. The group is known for handling complex, high-value cross-border deals and offers genuine opportunities for associates to take the lead on sophisticated transactions.

Key responsibilities:

Draft and negotiate

SPAs (locked-box and completion accounts), SHAs, and management incentive plans (including leaver terms)

. Manage due diligence, disclosure, and ancillary documentation. Advise on

transaction structuring

and

funds-flow arrangements

. Supervise and mentor junior lawyers. Work closely with partners and clients on complex multi-jurisdictional mandates. Participate in business development, know-how, and pro bono initiatives.

Requirements:

Around

6-7 years' PQE

(flexible),

UK or common law qualified

. Strong

Financial Sponsors / Private Equity M&A

experience gained at a leading City, Magic Circle, or top-tier international firm. Excellent drafting, technical, and client-handling skills. Strong academic background and a proactive, collaborative approach.
