The Communications & PR assistant supports the Communications team in executing strategies, product launches, events, and digital activations aligned with business objectives. This role promotes the brand and its products through social and editorial coverage across consumer and trade print, as well as social media. The Communications & PR assistant is responsible for supporting press office administrative duties, reporting, and facilitating influencer engagements to increase brand visibility and media presence.
What the role entails

Support Communications Strategy
Assist in the planning and execution of communications strategies, product launches, and press activations aligned with overall business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure 360-degree campaigns are strategically aligned.
Organise charity events and support sustainability initiatives.
Assist influencer outreach, research, and partnerships, helping identify influencers for key campaigns
Event Planning and Execution

Support the Communications team in event planning and organisation, including supplier negotiations and managing timelines.
Oversee event logistics and ensure all roles and responsibilities are clearly assigned.
Develop and maintain the activation calendar across multiple brands, ensuring seamless execution of events
Press Office Administration and Reporting

Support the day-to-day operations of the press office, coordinating mail-out calendars and ensuring timely product distribution to press and influencers.
Compile and track competitor ranking reports and provide event recaps for senior stakeholders.
Passion for the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with various internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
