Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Multi-Agency Children's Hub (MACH) team in Middlesbrough. This role is pivotal in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families within our community. As a member of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children and their families, working collaboratively with various agencies to deliver effective support and intervention.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
Developing and implementing tailored care plans that enhance the well-being of children.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including health, education, and law enforcement, to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding.
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of casework and interventions.
Providing advice and support to families, empowering them to make informed decisions.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
Registration with Social Work England.
Experience working in children's services, particularly in safeguarding.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and professionals.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
