We are looking for a Machine and Factory Operative to join our production team. Responsibilities:

Operating manufacturing machinery. Preparing pallets for dispatch. Processing orders. Picking orders manually from order sheets. Loading and unloading stock from vehicles. Work to existing production processes and procedures, ensuring all quality control and health and safety requirements are complied with. Stock control, including stock rotation, receiving goods in, despatching goods and regular stock taking. General warehouse duties including product assembly and cleaning.

Skills/Attributes:

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. A 'can do' attitude. Good communication skills. Following instruction from management. Abiding by all Health and Safety procedures. Working well as part of a team. Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment. Ability to be on your feet for extended periods. A good level of fitness due to the manual handling. Able to work under pressure and to targets in a constantly evolving environment, with a flexible approach. Good organisational and time management skills.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing production role. Training will be given. Counterbalance forklift licence essential. Reach forklift license and scissor lift licence preferred but not essential. An interest in Mechanical Engineering preferred but not essential.
