Job Description

We are the UK's largest supplier of CNC machine tools. Our headquarters are based in a modern 98,000 square foot factory less than 4 minutes from junction 27 of the M5 motorway.

The stores office is a key department within our company housing over 2 million of stock and supplying machinery parts to our service department, production department as well as customers.

We are looking for a Production Machine Builder (Ideally suited to someone with a mechanical background). You will play a key role in assembling, testing and preparing state of the art CNC lathes and mills to ISO standard. The role is hands on, detail driven and ideal for someone with a passion for mechanical and electrical engineering.

Main responsibilities:

Assemble CNC lathe and mills from castings to finished systems. Install CNC software packages. Install and test mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components. Carry out calibration to achieve ISO requirements. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical build issues.
Desired skills and experience:

Background in engineering or mechanics Understanding of mechanical drawings, tolerances and assembly principles. Good ability of using hand tools. High attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistent high quality, built machines.
Salary will depend on experience. Hours of Work: 07:45 - 17:00 Mon to Thurs, 08:30 - 12:30 Fridays (39 hours)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 27,000.00-32,000.00 per year
