Role Overview

One Point Survey Equipment is seeking a motivated and capable

Machine Control Operations Controller

to lead and develop our

Machine Control Division

. This is a

new and evolving role

, offering the right candidate the opportunity to shape day-to-day operations, implement systems and processes, and grow alongside the division.

The position is

office-based at our Ringwood office

, with the potential for

occasional customer, site, and manufacturer visits in the future

as the division expands.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Department Management

Oversee the

day-to-day running of the Machine Control Division

Implement, improve, and manage operational systems and workflows Take ownership of departmental processes and contribute to future growth

Customer Liaison

Communicate directly with customers regarding machine control solutions, scheduling, and support Provide a professional, responsive, and solutions-focused customer experience Assist customers with subscription queries, invoicing, and service coordination

Logistics & Team Coordination

Logistically organise and schedule a

team of machine control fitters

Coordinate installations, servicing, maintenance, and upgrades Plan workloads, job priorities, and resource allocation

Subscription & Revenue Management

Manage systems controlling

recurring revenue subscriptions

Track activations, renewals, cancellations, and ongoing service agreements Ensure accurate billing and record-keeping

Systems & Administration

Use

Syrinx

as the core operating system (experience helpful but not essential) Manage invoicing and basic accounts administration Maintain accurate customer, stock, and subscription records

Stock & Product Knowledge

Carry out

stock takes

and inventory control Develop a strong understanding of machine control equipment, parts, and accessories Understand what components are required for different machine control applications

Skills & Attributes

Essential

Highly organised with strong attention to detail Confident communicator with customers and internal teams Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently Willingness to learn, self-teach, and develop technical knowledge Strong sense of ownership and responsibility

Desirable (but not essential)

Experience using

Syrinx

or similar ERP systems Background in construction, surveying, machine control, or technical equipment Basic accounts, invoicing, or administrative experience

Training & Development

Career Progression

This is a

progressive role

with significant long-term potential. As the Machine Control Division expands, the position is expected to grow into a senior operational or management role within the business.

Salary
