Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled machine operator to join our team at Avondale foods this role will be within our Alt Milk Plant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of machinery used in the production of Alternative milk products.

The hours and days of work;

Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing for your daily task, identifying the various components (ingredients, product, bottles, lids, labels, packaging boxes) needed for the job.

Setting up the machine with the help of your supervisor, running checks and quality control to ensure the finished product is up to standards.

Your role will also include hygiene responsibilities to ensure that your working area meets the highest standards of food hygiene protocols to minimise risk to product contamination.

Operate company developing IT systems including SCADA & Microsoft applications.

Optimise plant performance by ensuring all plant and equipment is properly operated, maintained and cleaned to minimise downtime.

Work in an interdependent way as part of the department team on driving the business forward and accepting any other reasonable tasks.

Achieve management targets and objectives.

You must be able to maintain concentration and quickly notice deviations from normal function of the equipment.

Able to find opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.

To adhere to all Company Policies, i.e., Food Safety and Health Safety

Previous machinery experience would be advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 12.30 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
