Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery, ensuring production efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a mechanical background and experience operating telescopic fork lifts and rigid mast fork lifts. Training will be given if necessary to the right candidate. Enthusiastic, can do attitude with a pleasant disposition to look after customers.
Duties
Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery and automated equipment .
Conduct routine inspections to ensure machines are functioning correctly and efficiently
Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse or production areaMaintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations to adhere to safety standards
Assist with maintenance, basic repairs, or adjustments on equipment as needed Sweeping up around machinery and warehouse*
Skills
Fork lift experience would be an advantage but not essential Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely in a manufacturing environmentWarehouse experience is advantageous for efficient materials management
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about manufacturing technology who thrive in a hands-on environment. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive attitude towards safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From 14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 39 per week
