Company Introduction

My client is one of the UK'S premier manufacturers of steel wire fencing and related products. They have a strong network of customers both in the UK and overseas ensuring continued availability of quality wire fencing products supported by excellent team of workers.

We are currently recruiting for 3 Machine Operators on the following shifts:

1x Days: Mon - Fri, 6-2pm

Who Would Suit This Role?

These positions will be ideal for candidates with previous experience in car mechanics, engineering, or similar hands-on technical roles. If you enjoy problem-solving, have a keen eye for detail, and are comfortable working with machinery, we want to hear from you!

Machine Operator Main Duties:

Setting and operating machine Working to customer specifications Ability to use a variety of hand tools Fault Finding and minor repair when required Some repetitive lifting To work as part of a team , supporting and assisting others, flexible in different areas.

Machine Operator Skills Required:

Previous experience working within an engineering / manufacturing /mechanical environment Must have previous machine operative experience (setting and operating a machine ) A keen eye for detail Methodical approach to new tasks Capacity to follow written and verbal instructions Punctual and reliable, flexible approach to covering holidays and other shifts on short notice Can use Vernier callipers and micrometre measuring equipment
Ability to complete administration accurately including use of good numeracy skills.
