Overview:
We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various groundworks and maintenance tasks to support our operations.
Duties:
- Carry out general groundworks including digging, trenching, and backfilling.
- Assist in the installation of drainage systems and underground utilities.
- Operate small plant machinery such as compactors and mini-diggers.
- Support the team in landscaping and groundwork projects.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills:
- Experience in groundworks or construction industry.
- Ability to use hand tools and small plant machinery effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to groundworks.
- Physical fitness and the ability to carry out manual tasks.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to work.
Experience:
Construction: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
CSCS (preferred)
NPORS (preferred)
Driving Licence (required)
Work Location: In person
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
