Job Overview:

Tiffin Sandwiches is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Machine Minder to join our Sealing Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining sealing machinery, primarily flow wrapping machines, to ensure the efficient and high-quality packaging of our sandwiches. This role involves working on conveyor belts, monitoring machine performance, and performing basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Additionally, the Machine Minder will assist with various tasks across the sealing department to support smooth production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate flow wrapping machines and other sealing equipment on the production line. Monitor machine performance to ensure proper sealing, wrapping, and packaging quality.. Adjust settings as needed to accommodate different product sizes and packaging specifications. Work efficiently on conveyor belts to ensure continuous flow of products through the sealing process. Identify and report any machine malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor promptly. Assist with cleaning, setup, and changeovers of packaging equipment. Support other team members within the sealing department to meet production targets. Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.

Skills and Qualifications:

Previous experience working with packaging or sealing machinery is preferred but not essential. Good attention to detail and quality standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to operational needs. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot minor machinery issues. Reliable, punctual, and a team player. Basic understanding of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing setting.

Working Hours:

Sunday and Tuesday - 6am till finish

Other Day's - 7am till finish
