We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC wood machine operator to work in our busy production team.

Working Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week): 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday

Rate of Pay: 13.91- 14.81 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Requirements:

Reporting to Zone Managers, your main duties include cutting and preparation of timber and board materials to required specifications and quality; stacking and palletising wood; ensuring excellent housekeeping; machine cleanliness; conforming to all health and safety procedures and adhering to all safe system of work instructions; carry out any other general task if required.

Duties

Operate a CNC (Biesse/Morbidelli)

Perform materials handling tasks, including loading and unloading materials from machines

Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Skills / Experience;

-

Proficient in CNC machining / Programming. Experience of Biesse B Solid programming software would be a preference

- At least 3 years' experience working with timber / sheet material cutting equipment (CNC) in a manufacturing environment.

- Experience working with various handheld power tools.

- Good communication skills, written and verbal.

- Ability to work to targets to ensure delivery schedules are met.

- Excellent work ethic, be willing to learn and to progress within the business.

- Able to work in a team but equally able to work individually and keep motivated

Due to the nature of work this role will involve manual handling, lifting & moving of loads and repetitive movements.
