Position Description

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will primarily be based in the panel assembly/lagging cell within the Machine Dept. however, we always aim to have a cross-functional team, so working in other areas of the Machine Shop, as well as other departments across the Plant, may be required, depending on workload.



This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for the role include:

Panel assembly & lagging; assemble panels/doors for our bespoke AHU units and apply the required insulation as per technical specifications. Tool handling; use of basic hand tools for assembly and finishing tasks. Quality control; inspect components before they move to the next stage of manufacture to ensure the comply with our quality standards. Documentation; complete production records and report any defect or issues, promptly. Collaboration; work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production targets

Required Education & Qualifications

Safety compliance; follow all H&S guidelines, including proper use of PPE and safe machine operation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Experience using basic hand tools is essential. Experience with punch centres/press brakes is preferred. Experience withing an AHU manufacturing environment is preferable. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication process.


Additional training will be provided for the right applicant to develop the skills & knowledge required for the position.
