Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a prior knowledge of corrugated packaging machinery. This role involves operating machinery, handling materials, and ensuring the production quality product. The successful will be trained and supported to work across various machines within the operation.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain various types of machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met. Interpret technical drawings and specifications. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns. Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards. Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for machining tasks.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a packaging manufacturing environment. Experience with materials handling practices in a warehouse setting is advantageous. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
