MACHINE OPERATOR

Based in IRREVERSIBLE LABEL PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT - DEESIDE

A successful, world leading company in the field of colour change temperature measurement is searching for a Machinist. The role will involve working as part of a team operating label printing equipment to manufacture irreversible temperature indicating labels following production procedures.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Efficient manufacture of irreversible colour change labels to the expected quality standards Accurate recording of manufacturing data Assist in checking and packing products when required Work efficiently with other members of staff to improve production output Maintaining a clean and safe working environment To comply with ISO 9001 & Health & Safety procedures
This position involves working with printing machinery and involves manual lifting and long periods of standing while performing duties.

The successful candidate will have good excellent work ethic, willingness to learn and attention to detail to ensure consistent quality. Prior experience within printing or machine operating would be advantageous along with computer literacy.

Salary & Conditions

Salary: from 12.50 to 13.00 per hour depending on experience, increasing with training and performance or previous print experience.

Holidays: 28 days incl. bank holiday

Hours: 40 hours per week , 6:30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Monday to Thursday (4 day week) with 30 minutes for lunch. Overtime available.
