Job Description

In this role, you will operate a machine to produce quality products and meet production schedules.

Must be able to work rotating 12-hour schedule (4 day on, 4 day off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off).

Job requirements:

Job Title: Machine operator.

Location: Desborough.

Shift: Dayshift & Nightshift - rotating - 4 on 4 off.

Day Shifts 6am - 6pm.

Night shift 6pm - 6am.

Pay: 12.50 per hour plus a shift bonus of an additional 1.00 per hour.

Do you have previous experience of operating machines within a manufacturing environment?

If so, you will be joining a well-established and friendly team who are based in Desborough.

Povoas packaging are recruiting for a machine operator who is looking to learn new skills, develop their career and to progress within a company. Experience is not essential as full, ongoing training will be given for this role.

Main duties:

Learn how to operate machinery. Maintain the running of line with regular checks. Raw material loading. Unload the finished product. Quality checking.
Qualifications

Minimum 1-year manufacturing experience would be an advantage. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). Strong maths, measurement and attention to detail skills. Ability to work well in a team and as an independent contributor.
