Job Description

Polypipe Civils & Green Urbanisation design, develop and manufacture thermoplastic piping systems for civils and infrastructure projects with the industry\xe2\x80\x99s widest choice of water management, surface water drainage, sewer and cable protection systems. The role: Working as part of a team, responsible for the safe running of extrusion machines. Ensuring production is maintained at the highest quality and that production targets are maintained to the highest level. Working hours: This is working 4 on 4 off covering 2 days & 2 nights, 12 hour shifts. This is a fix term contract for 3 months with possibility of extending. Key Accountabilities:

• Complete initial quality and production check on your line and complete the necessary paperwork
• Check on IFS system for progress on current production run and that Barco is coded correctly and that IFS labels are being used
• Assist with grinding scrap product and rework
• Ensure that initial quality and production checks are complete

The person:

• Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience of working with Extrusion machines desirable but not essential for the role as training can be provided
• Willing and able to work shifts (days & nights)
• Able to accurately complete paperwork
