18.98 per hour rising to 20.55 with training + great benefits

Job Type:

Permanent (following a 3-month probationary period)

Hours of Work:

Friday night shift 10pm-8am and Sunday day shift 8am-8pm (if Bonnyrigg), 9am-9pm (if at Peffermill)

You will be required to work between our two sites (

Butlerfield Industrial Estate, Bonnyrigg, EH19 (Gluten Free) and Peffermill Road, Edinburgh EH16)

What you'll be doing:


As a key part of our production team, you'll help bring our award-winning oatcakes and snacks to life - from dough to dispatch! Every shift offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact. You'll be:

Producing mixes

in accordance with recipe sheets.

Running state of the art food production machinery

with precision, helping us consistently deliver top-quality products.

Carrying out product quality checks

and confidently stepping in when something's not right - your eye for detail helps keep our standards sky-high.

Troubleshooting minor equipment hiccups

and keeping your work area safe, clean, and running smoothly.

Building and preparing pallets

of finished goods, making sure everything is packed and ready to go.

Keeping accurate records

, both on paper and digitally - your attention to detail matters.

Taking ownership of safety and hygiene

- looking after yourself, your team, and the products we're proud of.

Getting hands-on

- some manual lifting is part of the role, but full training and support will be provided.
Whether you're experienced or new to the industry, we'll give you all the training you need during your probation to set you up for success.
