Summary

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Machine Operator to run production equipment safely and consistently. You'll set machines, complete checks and keep the line running smoothly spotting issues early and working with the team to resolve them.

Key Responsibilities

Operate production machinery safely Setting up tooling Monitor quality and output; record results and complete production paperwork Identify faults, stop the process safely where required, and escalate promptly Carry out routine cleaning and basic operator maintenance Work to production targets without compromising safety or quality

What we're looking for

Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing/production environment Good mechanical awareness and a practical, problem-solving mindset Comfortable with measurements, quality checks, and completing paperwork Calm under pressure with a positive attitude to safety and standards Reliable timekeeping and a flexible approach to workload and tasks

Desirable (not essential) skills

FLT and/or gantry crane license Steel processing experience Experience with changeovers, setting, or basic fault-finding Experience with manufacturing quality checks (e.g., micrometers/verniers, visual inspection)
