Unique machine operator role available in Halesfield, Telford.

Full time position for an expanding company.

The job will entail;

Set up and operate a variety of machining operations on our CNC machines that cut paper products for the packaging Industry.

Select, prepare, and set up cutting tools, fixtures, and jigs as required for each specific job.

Measure and inspect parts to ensure they meet established dimensions and specifications.

Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery lorries via the use of our on-site forklifts.

Perform basic preventative maintenance on machinery, and maintain a very clean and organised work area.

Adhere to all safety regulations, procedures, and guidelines for operating our machinery and handling tools and materials.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Good computer skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Forklift qualification preferred but not essential, training can be provided.

Machinery experience preferred but not essential. On site training will be provided.

Commitment and the ability to work as part of a team is more important.

Dates & Times

Full time position 8h a day, 5 days a week.

Working hours are 07:00 until 15:00, Monday to Friday.

Overtime is sometimes available during busy times.
