Overview

Knees Engineering is seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator (Press Break) to join our manufacturing team in Trowbridge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting and operating press brake machinery to produce high-quality sheet metal components. This role requires the ability to problem-solve and maintain a high level of efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal according to specifications Read and interpret technical drawings to determine production requirements Set up tooling and fixtures for various jobs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Conduct quality checks on finished products, ensuring they meet required tolerances Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations Identify the most efficient way to complete tasks and work efficiently Work within an existing team

Experience

Experience working with sheet metal fabrication processes Strong basic mathematical skills Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work Reasonably physically able to perform the duties of the role A decent work attitude and a willingness to learn Reliability is essential

Pay: 12.50-14.50 per hour
