We specialize in providing customized waste management solutions to both the public and private sectors, ensuring that all waste is treated in-house at our Refail Newydd transfer station, which boasts a zero to landfill recycling rate.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Waste & Machine Operative to join our team at Humphreys Waste Recycling Ltd. In this role, you will play a vital part in our operations by assisting with the processing and handling of waste materials, contributing to our commitment to sustainability and effective waste management.

Responsibilities

Assist in the sorting and processing of various waste materials. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all operations. Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently as required. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Report any issues or hazards to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements

Strong mechanical knowledge related to waste processing equipment. Basic maths skills for accurate measurement and reporting. Experience in warehouse operations or materials handling is preferred. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn new skills related to waste management processes.
