Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various machinery within a manufacturing environment. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality components, while adhering to safety standards and operational protocols.

About the role:



To operate machinery as per the Standard Operating procedures Operating complex machinery - quick decision making to ensure product is produced to the highest standards. Controlling product quality and weights to achieve product quality and customer specs. Record production data that ensures full product traceability. Ensure that a safe work environment exists by adhering to the company health and safety and environment policies and ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation. Ensure that all duties are undertaken in compliance with the company's policies and procedure. Deliver set targets against production plan by ensuring material yield and machine availability is optimised. GMP - clean as you go within working area.

The successful candidate will have:



Minimum of 2 years' experience in the manufacturing environment, with mechanical background.

Computer literate.

Competent setting up machines. Good level of communication skills with the ability to relay information at a level relevant to the audience.

Competent changing tools on machines.

Work self efficiently, be a highly motivated and confident operator with experience in controlling your work area and machinery by own accord.

The ability to work on their own and within a team.

A positive attitude to work with good timekeeping and attendance.

Training will be provided on dayshift, thereafter nightshift/dayshift schedule would be allocated, weekend cover will be expected within shift pattern once training is completed.

Hours and Pay:



12-hour shifts.

Dayshift/Nightshift

Dayshift. Staggered working week, weekends included.
